Epson BK vs MK: welke zwarte tape moet je kiezen?

Bij Epson labeltapes kom je vaak de aanduidingen BK en MK tegen. Beide varianten staan voor zwarte bedrukking, maar ze worden niet altijd op dezelfde manier gebruikt. Het verschil zit vooral in de uitvoering, toepassing en het type tape waarop de tekst wordt gedrukt.

Wat betekent BK?

BK staat meestal voor Black. Dit betekent dat de tape of cartridge zwarte tekst gebruikt. BK wordt vaak gebruikt bij standaard labeltapes voor algemene toepassingen, zoals kantoorlabels, archiefmappen, voorraadlabels, kabelmarkering en productlabels.

Wat betekent MK?

MK verwijst vaak naar een matte of specifieke zwarte uitvoering, afhankelijk van het type Epson tape. Deze variant wordt vooral gekozen wanneer je een strakkere, rustigere of beter leesbare afwerking wilt. MK kan handig zijn voor labels waarbij reflectie minder gewenst is.

Tip: Controleer altijd het volledige typenummer van je Epson tape. De kleurcode alleen is niet genoeg; ook de breedte, achtergrondkleur en tape-serie moeten overeenkomen met je labelprinter.

The DIA010 from Diamondlabels is an extra thin matte inkjet paper specially developed for endless label rolls.
