Wat is CLP labeling?

Verpakkingen die gevaarlijke stoffen bevatten moeten verplicht voorzien zijn van bepaalde kenmerken. Denk hierbij aan gevarensymbolen voor bijvoorbeeld bijtende stoffen.

CLP labeling staat ook wel bekend als GHS labeling (Globally Harmonised of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals). De CLP is een Europese verordening die specifiek omschrijft hoe chemische goederen verpakt en gelabeld moeten worden. Het doel is het beschermen van de gezondheid en het waarborgen van een veilig milieu.

Wat zijn CLP labels precies? +
Dit zijn verplichte etiketten voor verpakkingen met chemische stoffen. Ze moeten voldoen aan strenge Europese richtlijnen voor de indeling, etikettering en verpakking van chemische goederen om de gezondheid en het milieu te beschermen.
Is er een verschil tussen CLP en GHS labels? +
Nee, deze termen worden door elkaar gebruikt. GHS staat voor het wereldwijde systeem en CLP is de specifieke Europese verordening die dit systeem implementeert. Beide verwijzen naar dezelfde verplichte etikettering voor gevaarlijke stoffen.
Waarom zou ik mijn CLP labels zelf printen? +

Matte inkjet paper especially for applications with endless label rolls with easy to remove adhesive. Extra thin matte inkjet label material for endless rolls

The DIA010 from Diamondlabels is an extra thin matte inkjet paper specially developed for endless label rolls. Since the DIA010 is an extra thin paper, more meters fit on a single roll, but the biggest advantage is the extra low load on the autocutter unit. The thin paper minimizes the load on the cutterblade and thus extends the life of the cutterunit and thus the printer. This makes the DIA010 a widely used and ideal material for endless rolls in practical applications.
