As the code suggests, the DIA050S is almost the same as the DIA050 , in fact the eye will not see the difference However, the DIA050S is really very different from the DIA050 because the S variant is tear resistant. This makes the label suitable for many applications where tear resistance is important but a plastic label is too expensive. The tear resistance together with the strong adhesive provides a unique combination of strong adhesion which can still be removed reasonably well. This allows this material to adhere well to metal surfaces, even if they are not 100% grease free, and to be removed later without tearing the paper. There are many applications where the DIA050S has unique added value and deployability.
