The Zebra TD labels are basically available as 2 types, the 1000D is the budget friendly version and suitable for sea short use such as shipping labels and discolored relatively quickly under the influence of sunlight, temperature and other influences. Z-Perform ™ 2000D is Zebra’s slightly higher quality thermal counterpart.

The 1000D tag is Zebra’s budget thermal paper, also known as Z-Perform ™ 1000D Original Zebra thermal paper is available in a wide range of sizes. The Zebra TD labels are basically available as 2 types, the 1000D is the budget friendly version and suitable for very short use such as shipping labels and discolored relatively quickly under the influence of sunlight, temperature and other influences. The 1000D-tag is the variant without glue, a label without glue is referred to as ticket or tag. With a thickness of only 100 microns, it is a fairly thin paper. Z-Perform™ 2000D-tag is the slightly higher quality thermal ticket material from Zebra.

The Zebra Select 2000D from Zebra is a good quality thermal paper for printing with a thermal direct labelprinter. In the judgment of Zebra’s budget counterpart, Z-Perform ™ 1000D , the 2000D has a better coating and better adhesive which ensures that the label is able to maintain visibility under multiple conditions. However, it remains a TD label and therefore only suitable for temporary applications. A removable variant is also available, known as the Z-Select ™ 2000D-R

Zebra removable thermal labels, Z-Select 2000D

The Zebra Select 2000D-R from Zebra is a good quality thermal paper for printing with a thermal direct application. The Zebra 2000D-R is based on the standard version of the Zebra 2000D but is provided with a removable adhesive (non-permanent). The material is provided with a high-quality thermal coating, known as a top-coated material. This ensures an imprint that is more resistant to external influences. However, it remains a TD label and therefore only suitable for temporary applications. The variant of Zebra with permanent glue can be found under the material Z-Select™ 2000D

Zebra original thermal direct paper tags

The Zebra Select 2000D 190 tag from Zebra is a good quality thermal paper for printing with a thermal direct application. Compared to the Zebra budget counterpart, Z-Perform ™ 1000D tag, the 2000D tag has a better coating (top coated) and the thickness of 190 microns (compared to 110 microns) provides a noticeably firmer material. This makes the material more durable.

The DTD02 from Diamondlabels is a high-quality thermal direct paper with a top coating This high quality top coated paper is in all respects equal to the SE01 of Seiko SII and is therefore also widely used for the alternative labels for Seiko Smart label printers, but also for Dymo printers this is a widely used material. The backing paper of this material is extra white instead of the commonly used yellow, to ensure that the contrast between the white backing paper and the black markings, used by Dymo and Seiko SII, is extra high. Top coated thermal paper with special adhesive for tires

The DTD02T from Diamondlabels is a high-quality thermal direct paper especially for temporary tire storage. This high-quality top coated paper is top quality in every respect. The thermal paper guarantees an optimal and for thermal direct standard long-term printing. The special hot melt adhesive has been specifically developed for use on the rubber used in tires. This keeps the label attached for a long time, even on dirty car tires. In addition, the paper has a chemical barrier to prevent the label from becoming illegible due to the chemical reaction of the rubber. For the storage of winter and summer tires, thermal transfer labels are often used instead of thermal direct. Especially if the storage of the tires takes place in an environment that has very high temperature changes or high humidity, it is advisable to use TT labels to guarantee legibility.
