General information and explanation

The Epson ColorWorks CW-C4000 was announced in January 2022 to complement Epson ColorWorks' existing color label printers. This Epson CW-C4000 is a color label printer in the desktop segment and is equipped with every conceivable convenience. The Epson CW-C4000, for example, is equipped with an automatic paper knife, just like the ColorWorks TM-C3500. However, it has been decided to place this knife with the CW-C4000 in such a way that it is easy to replace yourself.

To simplify the integration of color label printers, Epson has paid a lot of attention to control with the CW-C4000. For example, the ColorWorks CW-C4000 is not only equipped with drivers for Windows, Mac and Linux, but it is also possible to obtain an SDK (Software Development Kit) to build your own app on Android or IOS. This Epson C4000 can be controlled from almost any device. The printer also has a full integration option in SAP. To easily replace existing thermal black/white printers with color label printers, the Epson CW-C4000 offers full ZPL II support via ESC label. For example, the Epson C4000 can replace the existing printer without any effort and the adjustment of the control can be adjusted bit by bit to add color. With the CW-C4000, Epson ensures a seamless transition from black-and-white printer to full color label printing.

The Epson CW-C4000 has a high-quality print quality of 1200 dpi and support for ICC profiles. This allows color labels to be printed in high resolution and the colors are optimal. With the 2.7 inch screen and control buttons, operating the printer is easier than ever before. Simply adjust the print position for the perfect result.

Printing deep blacks and optimally printing details in dark colors on matte printer media, the Epson CW-C4000 MK is an ideal printer. By using a different type of pigment in the MK black ink cartridges, the Epson CW-C4000 MK is able to optimally display the most beautiful details in dark colors. The disadvantage is that this type of black ink makes this printer less suitable for printing glossy materials. For glossy materials, the Epson CW-C4000 BK variant is a better option. The used inks of both variants are of very high quality and, if in combination with the right inkjet materials, they are able to produce prints that are resistant to water, UV light and chemicals.
