The Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000e printers are the first Epson inkjet color label printers that work with so-called ink pouches. These are essentially ink bags. The advantage over ink cartridges is, among other things, an ecological advantage. Making such an ink pouch costs 75% less in raw materials than ink cartridges. In addition, the volume vs. content ratio much better than an ink cartridge. This means that there is a much larger ink capacity (in this case 480ml) than previous printers without the cartridges being larger.
