General Information and Explanation About the Godex RT730i PRO
The Godex RT730i PRO is a very reliable and user-friendly label printer with broad application possibilities. The combination of great design, high-quality materials used in the printing mechanism, and numerous extras make the Godex RT730i PRO one of the most sold Godex desktop label printers. The Godex RT730i PRO is part of the RT desktop series from Godex, which consists of a wide range of models differing in print width, print resolution, and the presence or absence of a user interface (display). In addition, models with Wi-Fi are also available.
Within this series, the RT730i PRO is the barcode printer with a 300 DPI print resolution — ideal for printing labels with small or complex barcodes combined with small text. The 300 DPI resolution ensures everything is readable on the label. The "i" in the model number stands for "interface", referring to the printer's display. Godex also offers this same model without a display, which is the Godex RT730 (i.e., without the "i"). Businesslabels always recommends choosing models with a display, as they provide a much better user experience and help to quickly resolve potential issues or errors.
The Godex RT730i PRO prints both Direct Thermal media and Thermal Transfer media, which uses a transfer ribbon (TT ribbons). The RT730i uses TT ribbons with a core diameter of 1 inch (25.4 mm) and a length of 300 m (typically sufficient for about 4 label rolls).
A 203 DPI version is also available for less complex printing: the Godex RT700i PRO. For highly complex labels requiring very small text and high-density barcodes, a 600 DPI version is available: the Godex RT863i PRO.
