The Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000 series was introduced in 2024 and is an industrial color label printer for medium to large in-house label production. The combination of reliability, speed, and color fidelity allows the ColorWorks C8000 to print professional color labels at a speed of 300 mm per second.
To function well and reliably at such high speeds, the printer is equipped with a linehead PrecisionCore inkjet printhead, developed by Epson itself. To ensure optimal results, high-quality inkjet-coated printer media is essential. Good inkjet label or ticket material ensures optimal and quick drying during printing, so the labels are dry immediately upon leaving the printer and do not smudge. An additional advantage of the Diamondlabels brand is that these materials are profiled for the Epson ColorWorks printers that can work with an ICM profile. This greatly benefits color fidelity and color intensity.
The Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000e comes in two variants, this Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000 BK for glossy labels and specifically for matte labels, the MK counterpart Epson ColorWorks CW-C8000e MK.
