ExpoBadge T180

At the request of many users, the ExpoBadge T180 series has been developed to complement the ExpoBadge 260 product range. The ExpoBadge T180S badges do not have adhesive or backing paper. As a result, there is no residual material besides the badge itself and the badge offers more options for self-service kiosks.
The advantages of the ExpoBadge T180S compared to the ExpoBadge 260S are mainly in the ease of use. For example, folding is simplified, making the ExpoBadge T180S suitable for use in a self-service environment. Due to the lack of backing paper, no residual waste is created, which results in a cleaner environment where printing takes place. The ExpoBadge T180S is also only made of paper and so these badges are suitable for recycling after use as waste paper.
The ExpoBadge T180S is, just like the ExpoBadge 260S, made of a specially developed extra thick paper which is provided with the best performing inkjet coating. The badge format is almost the at 96.5 x 82 mm. With the ExpoBadge T180S it is not possible to print from edge to edge due to the lack of a border around the badge, so there is always a white border around the badge. To maintain the Epson ColorWorks badge printer it is necessary to keep a margin of 1.5 mm around. The detection method also differs, where the ExpoBadge 260S is detected by means of a GAP, the T180S works with a black marking.
The perforation used between the badges has been optimized to minimize the burden on the cutter blade of the Epson ColorWorks. However, cutting after each badge through the thick paper will accelerate blade wear over the long term.
